Reliable and consistent for a home gym

I've had this running for the last year and a half in my basement gym. Although I keep the area clean, this unit provides the best extra safety in an environment where it's critical to have consistent clean air quality. The difference is noticeable especially for cardio workouts over time, and I'm considering adding another unit for my bedroom.

Runs 24/7 since 2017

I have been impressed with my Airpura UV600 since 2017 when I first put it into service. I run it 24/7 year round. It even helped clean up the smoke from a small kitchen fire 5 years ago. It is very high quality and is used for health reasons. It cleans the air well. I appreciate seeing light streaming into my house and not seeing thousands of dust particles floating around anymore. I would buy again.

We got this as a filter for our clay studio. Keeping clay dust to a minimum is essential in a space like ours, and while we keep the studio ventilated and are constantly mopping, there is no way to prevent 100% of clay dust from getting into the air. This HEPA filter is the perfect supplement to good cleaning practices. Also, the UV light is a nice addition to have during flu season.

The sturdy casters are a fantastic feature, they make moving this heavy unit a breeze!

I researched for a while before landing on this brand. I appreciate the large amount of carbon and stainless steel housing that they use. The unit is large but very high quality. We have been quite happy with this air purifier for 2 years now. We use it in the bedroom at night as white noise. I do feel like it is a bit loud during the day in our living spaces, even on the lowest setting. I see that they have a new model that might be quieter and I am curious about it.

Works well

We live in a older log home and burn wood as our primary heat source. Dust and ash has always been a constant problem but we dealt with it. My wife had gotten some health issues and was later diagnosed with MCAS. Her chemical and dust sensitivity went into over drive. The UV600 has helped us keep the dust /ash levels in check. It’s amazing to see how much debris collects on the pre and main filter. To think we were breathing all that in is really eye opening. I can’t imagine ever going back to our unfiltered scenario ever again. Highly recommended .
